One of the lesser-visited national parks of atmosphere, expect to see few other travellers on your journey and plenty of private moments to admire majestic herds of elephants roaming amidst the iconic Baobab trees. Home to the highest concentration of wild elephants in the world, the Tarangire offers up unbeatable elephant sightings. Sometimes herds of up to 300 elephants can be seen around the Tarangire River, drinking from the shallows or enjoying a cooling mud bath. After a gorgeous final evening with fantastic food and an unforgettable sunset, today is your last day on your Tanzania safari. Depending on your flight, use your last morning to fit in a final, epic game drive. You will be picked up from your five-star Tarangire safari lodge by your private driver and taken to Kilimanjaro airport in time for your return journey home.
